Position Description
Appalachian State University's Department of Recreation Management and Physical Education (RMPE) continuously seeks qualified applicants for part-time lecturer positions in the Physical Education Activity Program (PEA). Responsibilities
Adjunct faculty typically teach 1-6 hours of physical education activity courses based on candidate qualifications and departmental needs.

Required Qualifications
Demonstrated teaching experience/expertise in content area.
Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Physical Education or related field from an accredited institution.
Applicable certifications/training.
CPR/First Aid training.

Rank, Salary, & Starting Date
Part-Time Lecturer: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
Adjunct faculty recruitment is ongoing.
