In Chancellor Everts’ March 18 weekly campus update, she announced that the third UNC System-wide employee engagement survey, established in the current UNC System Strategic Plan, will be conducted beginning late this month. Last Thursday, March 24, we received a message from UNC System President Hans announcing that the survey will open today, Monday, March 28.
Today, permanent faculty and staff will receive an email directly from the survey administrator, ModernThink, with a link to access the survey. This year’s survey is shorter than the version conducted in 2018 and 2020, focusing on a core set of items to benchmark against the prior surveys, items related to diversity and inclusion, and several items specific to institutional actions taken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The deadline for completing the survey is Monday, April 11.
