Open Enrollment is for permanent App State employees. Changes made during Open Enrollment will be effective Jan. 1, 2024.
Open Enrollment is the time to consider your benefit needs for the coming year and update your:
- Health Plan selection
- Dental and Vision coverage
- Health Care/Day Care Flexible Spending Account contributions
- Supplemental insurance coverage

If you have questions during Open Enrollment, HR’s Benefits staff will be available during drop-in hours or by appointment.

Make an Appointment
Make an appointment to meet with a Benefits staff member to ask questions or discuss options.
- For Boone or Hickory campus employees, Benefits staff will be available for virtual/Zoom appointments.
- In-person appointments on the Boone campus may be requested.
- HR’s Hickory campus representative will be able to answer general Open Enrollment questions and can help connect employees with Benefits staff for more assistance, if needed.
