Dear University Employees,
This message is to inform you that your Tax and Wage Statement (form W-2) for the 2022 tax year is now available electronically via Employee Self-Service. For those employees who have not yet provided consent to only receive the electronic version, paper W-2 forms will be mailed no later than January 31st, 2023. In order to aid in fraud prevention, the University has elected to truncate social security numbers on all mailed W-2 forms in accordance with IRS regulations. If you have not already done so, please consider receiving your tax forms exclusively in the electronic/online format. By doing so, you may reduce your risk of identity theft or fraud.
To make this election:
- Navigate to Employee Self-Service.
- Click on the Employee Tab
- Click on "Employee Dashboard"
- Choose "Taxes"
- Click the link for "Electronic Regulatory Consent"
- Check the box beside "Consent to receive W-2 electronically" and click submit.
To access W-2 forms online:
- Navigate to Employee Self-Service.
- Click on the Employee Tab
- Click on "Employee Dashboard"
- Choose "Taxes"
- Click the link for "W2 Wage and Tax Statement"
- Select Tax Year (2022) and click "display"
- To access an electronic copy that displays your full social security number, you must scroll to the bottom of the screen and click "Printable W-2."
