Annual SECC Fundraising Campaign is Underway

This year’s State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC) has already raised more than $850,000 for participating charities. Thank you to those who have already submitted a pledge or payment!

What is the SECC?

The SECC is the official workplace giving campaign for state employees. Donating is your chance to join with fellow state employees to strengthen and sustain local communities, the state and beyond.

What matters most to you?

Nearly 800 charities participate in SECC, from arts and culture to animal/wildlife protection to youth development organizations. Consider making a donation toward a cause that’s important to you and your community:

How can you give?

Donating is easy!

  • Make a pledge online now.
  • Check your email. Each week, you will receive an email from seccsupport@mail.ncsecc.org with a direct personalized link to a secure site for giving. If you gave last year, you will see that information for quick and easy reference.
  • Print and submit a paper pledge form.

You can also choose a donation method that works best for you:

  • Payroll deduction ($3 minimum/month)
  • Check
  • Cash
  • Credit Card
  • Stock Transfer/Matching Gift

What impact will you make?

No matter how much you give, your donation matters. Consider these examples:

Animal/Wildlife Services and Protection - $4/month, or $48 a year, funds:

  • Food for 2 pets for an entire month
  • Spay/neuter a small animal
  • Rehab an abandoned duckling

Aging & Senior Services - $5/month, or $60 a year, funds:

  • Hot lunches for an elderly neighbor in need
  • Transportation to & from appointments
  • Supplemental prescription program help

Food Nutrition & Assistance - $6/month, or $72 a year, funds:

  • 300 lbs of fresh vegetables delivered to a local food pantry
  • 1 week’s worth of groceries for a family
  • 1 week of school meals for a child

Military & Veterans Services - $ 10/month, $120 a year, funds:

  • PTSD therapy provided to a veteran
  • Utilities paid for a military family
  • Meals for isolated veterans
