Campus Connections are short 1-hour meet ups at various locations around campus. These events are designed to inspire employees to become engaged campus citizens and form lasting relationships. Employees are encouraged to attend at least one "Campus Connection" a month to network and learn more about the programs and services available to the campus community and the students we serve. A full schedule of Campus Connection events on our New Employee Orientation shared calendar. Registration is managed through Workshops.appstate.edu. 

Sponsored by the Chancellor's Office, Staff Connect brings together members of Appalachian’s staff from across campus for a social event that offers opportunities to make and build professional relationships beyond the boundaries of departments or previously established professional ties. This relaxed environment serves as a place for staff to network, meet others, learn of professional opportunities, share expertise and exchange ideas. SHRA, EHRA and Non-student temporary staff are encouraged to attend. Refreshments are served.

Established by Chancellor Sheri Everts in 2014, Faculty Club is an opportunity for faculty from across campus and faculty emeriti to gather in a relaxed and informal setting to share expertise and exchange ideas. Designed to generate an atmosphere of community and collaboration among Appalachian's faculty members, topics for discussion include teaching, research and service. Refreshments are served.
