Appalachian State University promotes direct communication between employees and supervisors to address grievances cooperatively. The Office of Human Resources - Employee Relations oversees the grievance and appeal process for all staff employees (SHRA and EPS), ensuring a prompt, fair response to complaints while protecting employees from retaliation.
